Having your own website or blog can be a great way to earn a living if it’s done right. Doing it right certainly doesn’t mean the process has to be complicated, but it means having the proper resources or tools to get the job done.


1. Select the platform you want to use to build your website

The theme you select will depend entirely on your preference and the type of business or blog you have.

4. Choose a domain name
The domain name is the www... and the name you choose is up to you, but it's best to select a name that reflects what your site is about. However, bear in mind that if you're using a free service like WordPress, the domain name will contain in it. For example, If you don't want that, you can buy your own domain name. 5. Add Content

6. Publish site
When you are satisfied with the design of your site and you have added valuable content, it's time to hit the publish button. When you publish your site it means you're now live on the internet.

9. Submit your site to search engines
To help people find your site and drive traffic to it, you should submit your site's URL or sitemap to the main search engines like yahoo, bing, google.
